SSL were asked to provide full production in the arena for the BBC radio 2 all star party at the winter gardens in Blackpool. This was the third year running for the event and saw Radio 2’s Trevor Nelson, Craig Charles, and Ana Matronic taking to the road to provide an epic showcase of live music to the northwest of England. The arena was to hold DJ set from Craig Charles and Ana Matroinc. These sets were broadcast live on BBC radio 2.

SSL liased with the BBC and provided a rider spec sound and lighting package to the arena including the most up to date pioneer DJ equipment. We also gave some live feeds from our sound desk to the BBC to enable them to broadcast to the nation. It was a real pleasure to work on such a successful event and SSL would like to thank to BBC and the Events company UK for the opportunity.
