Monday was spent de-rigging the festival from the weekend and de prepping all kit coming back into the warehouse. Tuesday we were back prepping again for an audio job at Uclan graduation. SSL are providing a full PA system consisting of 16 boxes of Martin Audio WPC and 14 Martin audio blackline X8’s to provide clear audio for speeches and back ground music with full technical support for the system. We rigged the system on Wednesday night ready for the graduation starting the week after. On Thursday & Friday we were providing tech support for the rehearsals of the graduation.
With the upcoming festival and holidays fast approaching for some of our team, SSL made sure that we were extra organised. Early on in the week we set up all sound systems and drew plans in our audio software for this weekend to get the initial programming done. Some of the teams had meetings early on in the week finalise work for the coming month and create final plans for the work to commence. We spent the week prepping kit for back to the old pool at the weekend and the sound gigs for the following week.
On Friday the team were in at Blackpool pleasure beach rigging for Back to the old pool festival where we provided full sound/lighting/Dj equipment/monitoring and technical support. The indoor festival saw over 1500 people across 2 main rooms and our Martin audio PA system and robe lighting provided an epic show for all involved.
