INSTALLATION OVERVIEW
Aim: To create a multifunctional venue in terms of Audio/Visual/Effects Lighting. Lytham house creates different atmosphere in different areas of the bar/restaurant and our installation had to match this. The aim was also to create a space for live artists with equipment that could be controlled by bar staff.
How: Using an array of different control, sound and lighting equipment SSL were able to create a very high quality A/V solution whilst keeping control extremely simple. All of the equipment is controlled via two iPads mounted behind the bar. We installed a variety of CDD and Adorn Martin Audio loudspeaker cabinets, all controlled by BSS loudspeaker management systems. We installed Chauvet Pixel LED bars at stage to create subtle, yet effective lighting for when live artists and Dj’s were playing. We also took control of the fibre optic tree in the middle of the bar area Via DMX and controlled it via our iPad system. In the Private dining rooms we fitted 2no. samsung TV’s hidden behind two way glass with HDMI plug in points. This meant the customers could play custom content from an external source. iPads were also installed to allow custom control of the music in that specific room.
Result: An easy to control zoned, high quality audio system. An easy to control, subtle yet effective lighting solution. An easy to control Audio/Visual system for use by the customers in the private dining rooms.
“This is one of 7 audio/visual installs carried out by SSL on the venues, and they continue to deliver every time. They have managed to create an exceptional high quality system that is so easy to control which is paramount as staff can work it with ease” Ross Robinson – CEO Redfox & Peacock.
