SSL were asked to come and look at Marvins Lytham after completing work at their poulton site in 2018. After a site visit and looking at timings we realised the scope of the work that needed to be done in such a short space of time. Following conversations with the directors we took on the electrical and steel works of the venue as the majority of work was required by us.

We installed a 9 point Martin Audio CDD sound system downstairs and 6 point Martin Audio Adorn sound system upstairs. These were powered by the existing Lab Gruppen amplifiers in the building. As well as this we installed the popular projectors and lighting frames (see below for pictures) that have helped to create the Marvins brand. Another repeat design of the poulton bar. We installed 4 strips of LED tape underneath the bar, all of this is fully DMX controlled. This allowing flexibility to create atmosphere around certain events such as Valentine’s Day, Halloween and Christmas.

In the Karaoke room we installed Martin Audio Blackline X for the sound along with some LED pixel lighting. This was controlled by an elation DMX recorder to create the ultimate party atmosphere. Shure SM58 was the handheld microphone of choice for this venue providing durability and good sound quality for the singers.
