After helping Ride no. 1 with the install of some LED strip lighting we were contacted again to install sound and lighting into their new studio on Lytham road. After we were given a brief we came up with a sound & lighting design. For the Sound we positioned a 4 point martin audio BLX15 system in each corner of the room supported by a CSX212 subwoofer. This was powered by Martin audio Via amplifiers and Processed by BSS control.

For the Lighting we installed Chauvet Pix bars to wash the walls. We also installed 5 x 5 metre strips of LED Pixel Tape controlled via DMX. Around the stage we clamped 5no. ADJ rxone beams onto a semi circular truss to create a ‘cage’ of lighting along with some LEDJ spot lights to light up the instructors. All of this lighting is controlled via Chamsys control both at the rack via a computer and iPad on stage creating ease of use and flexibility.

We commissioned a projector for the use of ‘impact’ visuals, the idea behind this is that it isn’t always on and is triggered to create a visual effect relating to the intensity of the class. We did this using Resolume software triggered by the Chamsys system. We also help ride Lytham with their events such as the opening night, after hours events and club day.
