Aim: To move Ride from site 2 to site 3 on whitehills business park. SSL intended to create a club like feel whilst exercising in an immersive environment throughout the use of effects lighting and effectively distributed audio.

How: SSL installed 40 metres of new LED pixel tape along the walls to create an encapsulated atmosphere for the customers. We also moved some of the existing equipment from site 2 to site 3, this included:

• 4 no. Martin Audio Blackline X15 loudspeaker cabinets

• 1 no. Martin Audio SX212 Subwoofer

• 5 no. ADJ RXone beam moving heads

• 3 no. ADJ Sabre spots

• 1 metre truss podium

• 1 no. Short throw projector

• 1 no. Projector screen

• 2 no. Crown amplifier

• 1 no. Custom PC

• 1 no. Chamsys control system

Result: SSL created a system controlled via iPad, at the instructors stage which meant ultimate ease when selecting lighting programmes. In addition to this the ‘impact’ Visuals were also selected from there. The Martin audio system provided extremely clear audio reinforcement with the added kick of some prominent low frequencies from the SX212 subwoofer.
