We were commissioned to carry out an install on an air clad unit. An airclad unit is essentially a inflatable marquee used for temporary events and permanent installs. This presents issues when fixing sound and lighting equipment to the marque as there are limited fixing points and places to run cable.

The brief from the client was to create an immersive gym studio with a full surround sound system. For this we designed and created a concept. We installed 60 metres of LED tape in a ‘U’ shape following the curve of the structure on the steel supporting beams. We also installed 6 martin audio CDD 6 speakers and a twin 12inch subwoofer to create the immersive sound as in the brief. The Lighting worked well in this installation as it catches the peripheral vision in the room therefore the movement of the light adds effect when working out in the space.
